Description of Species A deciduous tree,up to 15 m tall. Bark rugged, light brown in colour. Leaves opposite, pinnae rusty tomentose; leaflets 5-7, lateral, elliptic-oblong, entire, acute; rusty tomentose-brown. Flowers large, in terminal panicles; calyx 3-5-lobed, rusty tomentose; corolla tube tomentose on the outside, lobes subequal, obtuse. Fruit a capsule, long, cylindrical, curved, dehiscing loculicidally, twisted, hanging like snakes from the branches. Leaf Details Leaves opposite, pinnae rusty tomentose; leaflets 5-7, lateral, elliptic-oblong, entire, acute; rusty tomentose-brown.
