Description of Species An erect shrub, up to 2 m tall. Leaves compound with 11-21 leaflets, broad, oblong to elliptical, blunt, truncate to slightly retuse, apiculate, velvety on both sides. Stipules deciduous. Flower in raceme, bright pink to violet, covered with sterile scales at the base; bract calyx cuped teeth nearly equal. Fruit pod, straight, hairless, 8-12-seeded. Leaf Details Leaves compound with 11-21 leaflets, broad, oblong to elliptical, blunt, truncate to slightly retuse, apiculate, velvety on both sides. Stipules deciduous.
