Description of Species A shrub or a small tree, up to 8 tall, bark grey, furrowed. Leaves opposite or subopposite, oblanceolate-oblong, obtuse or rounded at apex, rarely notched, cuneate, sometimes unequal at base shortly pubescent on both surfaces, scabrid and rough at length, margins entire or coarsely crenate. Flower small, in lax, terminal or axillary pedunculate cymes; Calyx oblong-campanulate, shortly silky-hairy inside; lobes small, obtuse. corolla white, lobes more or less equal to tube, oblong, obtuse, reflexed; stamens inserted on the corolla throat; style arms narrowly clavate.
