Description of Species Sub-deciduous shrubs or small trees, up to 7 m high. Bark pale greyish, finely wrinkled. Leaves bifarious, obliquely cordate at base, shortly acuminate at apex, elliptic to obovate, serrate, scabrous above, densely pubescent beneath; petioles pubescent; stipules deciduous. Flowers pinkish-red; calyx laterally compressed, somewhat 2-lipped, hairy; petals reflexed; staminal exserted; stamens 10.
