Description of Species Shrub up to 5 m tall, with thorny branches. Branches are dark brown when old, initially rusty velvety, hairless when old. Leaves oblong or oblanceolate, rarely ovate-lanceolate, both surfaces hairless, base broadly wedge-shaped or slightly rounded, margin toothed or sparsely so, tip pointed or blunt; bracts caducous, lanceshaped Flower white, many, bell-shaped; sepals triangular, tip pointed; petals circular, tip rounded. Stamens are 20, filaments ; ovary densely white velvety apically. Fuit orangish yellow or orangish red when mature, nearly spherical. Leaf Details Leaves oblong or oblanceolate, rarely ovate-lanceolate, both surfaces hairless, base broadly wedge-shaped or slightly rounded, margin toothed or sparsely so, tip pointed or blunt.
