Description of Species Shrubs upto 2 m tall. Bark green, smooth, glabrous. Leaves alternate, rachis with a clavate or conical gland between all except upper pair of leaf¬lets, stipules early caducous, linear; leaflets 8 pairs, ab ovate to ovate-lanceolate. Flower racemes axillary or terminal, 4-10-flowered, bracts caducous, linear-lanceolate; Calyx yellowish green, ovate-elliptic, unequal. Carolla bright yellow, ovate-orbicular, shortly clawed. Fertile stamens 7, unequal; Ovary glabrous. Fruit pod, terete, slightly subquadrangular when fully mature.
