Description of Species A low, rigid, small shrub with numerous, stiff branches, Bark adpressed pubescence, striate. Leaves very variable, the lower larger, the upper very small, sub-sessile, oblong, sometimes mucronate, pale-green, silky. Flowers in terminal racemes. Calyx hairy, teeth lanceolate, acute. Corolla yellow with usually reddish streaks, Stamens 10, monadelphous; anther lobes heteromorphous; 5 stamens with short lobes alternating with 5 stamens with long lobes. Style curved and slightly swollen near base, Fruit a pod, obliquely-ovoid, beaked, brownish. Seed 1.
