Description of Species Robust, woody climbers, with finely downy branchlets. Leaves 25 – 70 cm long leaflets 7 – 9 (11), obovate, elliptic or oblong, terminal leaflet largest, short acuminate or obtuse, entire, grey – silky when young; stipules persistent. Flowers white, tinged yellowish – brown, 6 – 12 mm long, in slender axillary, racemes. Calyx 3 – 4 mm long, densely pubescent. Corolla almost thrice as long as calyx; vexillum 6 – 12 mm long. Pods woody, straight, flat, pale – brown velvety, especially when young.
